米政府機関がID共通化のパイロットプロジェクトを開始。

Tech Vendors Line up Behind Open Gov't Initiative - PC World

the open identity initiativeというのはOpenID Foundationと Information Card Foundationが主催している模様。
今回、そのパイロットプログラムを、U.S. Center for Information Technology (CIT) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)その他の政府機関が旗振って始めたということらしい。
10社が参加。
